Denne bog kommer godt omkring Anthony Bourdain's liv, fra barndommen med en fransk-amerikansk familie, igennem hele hans karriere i et professionelt køkken, som efterfølgende førte til hans tid med tv-programmerne No Reservations og Parts Unknown, som var der jeg første gang stiftede bekendtskab med manden bag mennesket og fænomenet Anthony Bourdain. Alt i alt fremragende læsning, og da bogen er skrevet af ham selv, føler man virkelig man kommer under huden på hovedpersonen i denne livsfortælling.

Fed indsigt i køkkenverdenen i tidsperioden. Vilde anekdoter, god fortælling. En anelse lang men der er bare meget at fortælle.
