EM Faustus. Private Eye. Back in business. He's been given a case of a life time. Murder. By the murder victim themselves. A softly spoken Zombie who offers him a bag of cash and a free holiday... make that trip to New Orleans. Faustus just didn;t expect to have to deal with swarms of killer Zombies, trying to kill him... A gaggle of beautiful women, all trying to kill him... His business partners, both convinced that they're dead and trying to kill him. Oh... and then there's the alligators. All wanting him to listen to their poetry. Still... he's got smokes, coffee and a hat. Time to get Funky. Zombie is the fourth EM Faustus novel and features the most foul mouthed, bad tempered and borderline psychotic of Private Eyes. Faustus still only works 1940's genre, is still surrounded by hot women, casual violence and massive property destruction. But this time he also has a Zombie invasion in New Orleans to stop. More important, he has to find somewhere that does a decent cup of coffee. Most importantly of all... he has to deal with Leroy.
