Adam, Heather, and Brendan have finally arrived in Argudo City, but their troubles are far from over. Just when the group begins to settle down, they are targeted by three assassins who want to eliminate them. When an attack leaves one of their strongest wounded, the others who can still fight must divide and conquer, taking on challenges they never anticipated.

Things become further complicated when the mayor of the city, a powerful affiliate of the kingdom, intervenes.
