In the late 1800s, life was hard. Gold was on everyone's mind. One river looks like it could be a good place to find Gold. When people learn that all that glitters isn't always gold, most move on. Yellow Creek got its name because of the incident. Cole Stewart was one of the few who stayed behind. Maybe because he saw the gold in the creek wasn't quite all panned out.
