In this new adaptation of Buchner's fragmented and visceral text, with original lyrics by Nick Cave, Icelandic director Gisli orn Gardarsson transposes the story to an inhuman industrial landscape, and fiercely reimagines the play's potent fusion of naturalism and expressionism."
