Welcome to Holiday Hills, Georgia! A quaint, magical town with a great cafe, and a big heaping tablespoon full of cozy mystery drama and murder!

A budding magical romance, a brand-spanking new and lucrative publishing contract, and an ex-boyfriend to

rescue. To say my life is complicated is putting it mildly. My life is one hot, magical mess.

Knowing what I know about my warlock ex-boyfriend - what he gave up for me, and his reasons for doing it, doesn't mitigate the angst about his situation soaring through my blood, and it sure as heck won't stop me from finding him and locating the terrifying mountain man who's out to kill him. And me.

A few months back, Gabe cast a spell over me. It wasn't a love spell, but quite the opposite. A spell causing me to move on from our relationship. And it worked. At least for a hot minute. Do I still love the guy? (Insert shoulder shrug here.) It's hard to tell when there's another warlock knocking on my heart. Okay, more like pounding. But that spell and those blossoming feelings for the new guy won't stop me from doing what I need to do.

Save Gabe from the mountain man.

Why? You guessed it. Love. And maybe a hint of obligation. Except I don't even know where to begin. And worse, I need help. Magical help. How does a gal ask her new man to help hunt down an evil being terrorizing her ex? All suggestions are welcome!

As a paranormal cozy mystery writer, I'd call this the backstory, but it's not. There are three magical men in my life who may or may not be involved in Gabe's disappearance, and each claim to want to help me find him.

But I know the truth. Or at least I think I do.

I think one of those magicals tried to hurt Gabe, but he caught on, and now he's disappeared and planning to come back fighting when he figures out who's trying to hurt him. And the magical responsible for all this knows I'll find Gabe.

Or die trying.

I thought these were serious problems, but the biggest of all is if I succeed. If I save Gabe... where does that leave us?
