When Josh Martin received a message on his Apple watch, telling about a radiation outbreak spreading from coast to coast, he knew he had to act fast.

Grabbing what supplies he could and making it to the local hospital just in time, he is saved by Sam - his doctor friend who stayed behind to help the sick.

Together they make their way to Mt Rainier, where their prepper group has set up a community where they can be safe and live in peace. Not all goes as planned during the trip, however.

But not everyone wants to live in harmony. Before long, the group finds themselves in a desperate fight for survival, pitted against a merciless enemy that has no qualms about killing them, and taking whatever they want.

The question for the survivors in this new and imperfect world, is will they possess the strength and courage to ensure they keep their new lives and communities safe?

Book 4 marks a major change in the series. Books 1-3 were short stories, and this (Book 4) is a novel-length book. To help with those who haven't read the first three, this book can be read without reading the first three.
