Sam Redd has a terrible secret. She lies to protect the people she loves...and to protect herself from being hurt again. Planning to spend a quiet Christmas holiday with her playwright daughter in New York City, Sam has a chance encounter with a handsome and very charming young actor who insists she run his publicity campaign. Their relationship takes an even more bizarre turn when they find themselves in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Sam meets an aging rock star whom she can't get out of her mind.
