Wildlife have had a long and remarkable impact on the peoples of England. Consider, for instance, the arrays of wildlife that have inspired the nation's literary giants, and fuelled many of the nation's curious folktales and legends. Sadly, though, many of these wildlife have suffered stark declines, and the majority of us are largely unaware of the intriguing connections that we share with them. This book, therefore, delves into the rich myriad of ways in which the wildlife of England have impacted us, and vice versa, through time, in an effort to enrich perspectives of the nation's wildlife.
