Who's On My Side? The Story of Kalen Brown

Since the age of eight, Kalen Brown has been mentally and physically abused by his alcoholic father, Michael Brown. Now at eighteen years old and in search of a way out of this ten year nightmare, Kalen is given an opportunity to make some fast cash as a pick up man for a major gun runner named, Big Boss. Kalen's summer after graduating high school is filled with many mixed emotions, which leaves him to question his own self worth and also who is really on his side. His best friends, Jesse and Sharee have been doing their best to protect him from his father through the years, but the strained father/son relationship has reached its boiling point. Kalen must face the man who he calls the living devil. One way or another, with all of the conflict that has risen in his life, Kalen's journey with Michael and Big Boss will come to an end during this summer.
