Bishop, Dr. Gilbert Edwards, Sr. was born and rearedin Maryland. He is a family man with 16 childrenand one wife, Dorothy of 60 years. His children areof adult age and have obtained success in variousareas of life such as clergy, pastors, entrepreneurs,carpenters, electricians, etc. Some are still pursuinghigher education. Family time and love is still animportant aspect of Dr. Edwards life. Today, hisadult sons spend quality time together with him,and his adult daughters spend quality time togetherwith mom. He has obtained his Associate of Arts and Bachelorof Arts Degrees in Biblical Studies from the ArlingtonBible College in Baltimore, MD. He received hisMaster of Arts Degree in 1993 and his Doctorate ofTheology in Bible and Theological Studies in 1996,from the Antietam Bible Seminary in Hagerstown,MD. Dr. Edwards serves as the Diocesan Bishopof the State of Delaware under the PentecostalChurches of the Apostolic Faith International, Inc. (PCAFI); Chairman of the Eastern and SouthernStates Council, District of the PCAFI, Inc., andis now the Senior Pastor of The Full Gospel TrueMission Church, Inc., Baltimore, MD, since 1982.
