Palomo Soldado Medina is the greatest superintendent in Spain, the Iberian Peninsula, Europe and probably the world. Well, Europe and the world are perhaps an exaggeration. The real crux of the matter here is that a chain of atypical murders has disrupted the peace of the 'nothing-ever-happens' city of Logroño. Logroño is the capital of La Rioja, the most famous wine-producing region of Spain. Will Palomo Soldado Medina be able to solve these bizarre homicides? Hmmm. We shall see. This is a sweet and sour story, where tears mingle with laughter. Who Can Catch Me is also a sharp criticism against the Spanish culture and society, and by extension the western world.
