Where the Wind Blows

Alexa, her husband Rob and daughter Beth leave New Zealand to live in Brazil for one year. Sixteen-year-old Beth struggles with a new culture, but it brings her insights, too. Six years later, back in New Zealand, Beth dies, and the family is thrown into despair. Coming to terms with their grief, they leave to work in another country, Oman: its alien culture bears no resemblance to the life they have known. What they experience and discover helps them towards acceptance of their loss, the ability to appreciate beauty again, and gives them hope for the future.
