When Dead Men Breathe

This isn't the same world it used to be. Now that humans have once again casted out the second-worlders, unrest grows like a cancer.

A cancer I helped create.

I wasn't pleased to see Mikey again, but there's something different about her this time. She's calmer, tamer... and I would never admit it, but I've grown used to her being at my side. But with the weight of the future on our shoulders and even bigger targets on our backs, we'll need more than each other for protection.

Now there's fire in my veins as emerald eyes stare back at me. She says she'll take me to see my parents if I do her a favor. Little did we know, that favor would uncover a blight worse than anything we've faced before.

And I don't know if we can make it out alive this time.
