We live in a rapidly changing world where conflicting views and opinions shape how we see the world and how we see ourselves. With information overload comes confusion and stress, especially for young people who are amid self-discovery. Young people like you.

Now more than ever, it is imperative for high school students to have complete certainty in Islam. Our belief system has been meticulously preserved for over fourteen centuries, and our faith always proved its truth when challenged by every man made ideology. A proper understanding of your faith will anchor you in today's world of doubts, disbelief, and self-centeredness.

This is an introductory book on Islamic belief that explores how our emotional wellbeing connects to our relationship with our Creator: Allah. It provides answers to some frequently asked questions: What is the purpose of my existence? Why am I here? Why do I need faith to be a good person?

After having countless conversations with young people who asked these same questions, we wrote this book. We have seen what happens when they get answers. This book will help you begin your journey to know Allah, and that journey will transform the way you view and feel about yourself, others, and the world.

As part of a new, courageous Islamic Studies curriculum, 'What is Your Belief?' aims to help you apply your faith to real-world issues. Features like the Brain Teaser boxes and the Review and Reflect sections show everyday, practical applications of our belief. We pray that this curriculum helps you draw closer to Allah.
