we suffer connection

A poetry collection that embodies the thoughts and feelings of young love, sadness and anxiety. Incredibly introspective, it follows a total of 5 key chapters each detailing a different theme: connection (I & II), derealisation, turmoil and resolution, with a section of beautiful haikus at the end. The title is a message to all that sometimes our connections with others are painful, but we endure them nonetheless and they make us who we are. Connection also comes in many forms, whether that be with ourselves, a loved one or a thought or feeling that keeps us going or stops us in our tracks. This collection aims to illustrate a time in my life that was fraught with indecision - but most of all, love and appreciation. I hope you will enjoy and really connect with these words <3
