The last thing Cin Kilkari expects to find when responding to a call about strange lights and sounds at one of the apartment complexes Solstice Properties manages is a mummy. The problem is, the mummy had been one of her residents a couple of days ago.

When Cin and her crew begin digging into what killed the man and made the mummy, things keep getting stranger and stranger. Each clue is odder than the last, and none of them seem to connect. Magic only seems to make things worse. The shadow of a UFO watchtower stretches over the complex making people look to the night sky, but that can't be the answer, can it?

Cottonwood, Colorado has always been known for the unusual, but things are going beyond what's been seen before. Can Cin decipher the clues before the town burns to the ground, consumed by forces she never expected to exist?
