War and Peace in Today's World

In a world which seems to be deluged with conflicts and social anxiety it's important to sometimes sit back, take a deep breath and reflect on how it is that we have created these realities. To fully understand the worth of Peace it can be argued that War must exist in some form, and it is to this end the concept of this anthology has been created. War and Peace aptly considers the juxtaposition of these opposing actions but also widens the aged old argument as to whether one can exist without the other. This collection of poetry broadens the view of war and peace and seeks to consider war torn conflicts alongside mental anguish and societal discourse in our communities and home while also musing considerably about the various states of peace and tranquility that are created by being considerate to ourselves and others also. Now in its 2nd year, these poetry collections are fast becoming a key feature within the literary market and are proving that the creativity of these young poetic wordsmiths has a place in both the education system and in our modern society alike.
