Brandon Slazenger grew up working in his families Lexington, Kentucky Chevrolet dealership. He was in his senior year at Yale looking forward to graduation and marrying his sweetheart when events suddenly plunged the world into apocalypse. This is the story of Brandon and eight companions who find themselves abandoned and fighting for survival along the rocky shores of Lake Cumberland, Kentucky. It is a novel that takes the reader on an arduous and dangerous journey through the desolate hills of Tennessee to the swamps of southern Florida as a young man grapples with life, death, love and tragedy in the quest to find his family.
