Beskrivelse
Waiting God's Way is a guide of how to practically live out the Bible verse Isaiah 40:31(KJV) "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Each chapter dives into the meaning of each of the 6 scripture verses in the Bible passage Psalms 23. David, the author of this well-known passage, was a young shepherd boy in his father's field when a prophet of God anointed David and proclaimed him the future King of Israel. At the start of Psalms 23, David claims the Lord is his shepherd, and he goes on to describe his relationship with God as such. Waiting God's Way details the life of David and how he learned to wait on God's will and direction through many trails and battles during his life and throughout his reign as king. On the contrary, a man named Saul, who was King of Israel before David, also was presented with times where he should wait God's way. Failing to do so, Saul chooses to do things his own way. His choices resulted in him losing his place as king and took the lives of his children and in the end, his own. By comparing the lives of Saul and David, Waiting God's Way lays out a roadmap for anyone to learn how to follow The Lord as a Shepherd and how to wait as He leads.
