Visual models are created to help understand how something works, how it's put together, or what characteristics and behaviors it embodies or exhibits. By enabling this deeper understanding, the model helps develop insight that then supports the act of creation, and is often linked to problem solving.

Bryan Coffman is one of the world's foremost visual modelers. He has been practicing and refining the art of visual modeling since 1983, and his pioneering work in this profoundly useful technique has influenced fellow practitioners worldwide.

He is a co-founder of Sente Corporation and of InnovationLabs.
