Vermin

Lice, leeches, roaches, and rats, what people call "vermin" are fascinating cultures with vivid life styles. Marilyn Stablein, their chronicler, is a non-judgmental and generous writer who watches these nonhumans with serene detachment, humor, and uncanny empathy.
