Beskrivelse
Trapped in a research facility in Canada, Corina is a vampire being tortured and tested on to find a cure for the savage plague killing the humans at an alarming rate in North America. The humans believe that if they find the key to the vampires immortality, they will be able to cure the plague, along with all other diseases and sicknesses. Corina escapes from the facility bringing another vampire along with her on the journey down to Arkansas to find Laine Grant, the phoenix. Corina is sure she can help everyone. The problem is whether the phoenix wants to help the humans. Her very handsome son, Hadrian, becomes quick friends with Corina, pulling at her heart strings while the other vampire she came to Arkansas with is also another candidate for being her lover. In the midst of two hot vampires, humans constantly after them, and a very powerful (and possibly crazy) vampire queen, Corina is on a journey that will change her life.
