In addition, the book provides detailed information on 42 major and minor vegetable crops grown in the tropical and subtropical regions, including their origin and taxonomy, importance and uses, botany, nutritional and medicinal values, and plant protection measures and post-harvest management. The authors extensive experience in teaching and research on various aspects of vegetable science at a State Agricultural University was leveraged in developing this book.
