Urban Aliens

Audrey Burton, a woman who was born with a supernatural ability that she calls "the Sight"; a curse that allows her to see the supernatural. All her life, she has felt aimless and alone, with nobody to turn to for anything. Not her struggles with the strange creatures that only she can see, the things known to her as "Visitors", and not her struggles with other regular people, either. Drifting aimlessly through life, buried memories and a hazy sense of guilt bring her back home to a rural town in West Virginia, where she expects to learn what is keeping her from feeling complete. When she arrives, she finds herself the target of strange supernatural incidents, seemingly molded after her most painful memories. For once, though, she also finds she is not alone. Meeting a woman named Karla, who shockingly shares Audrey's power of the Sight, Audrey is given the support she thought impossible, and together with Karla and a strange investigator, Cheryl Baugher, she has a chance to face the nightmares that haunt her. United by their desire to protect Audrey's home, the three must grow closer together if they want to overcome both Audrey's troubled past and the crisis threatening to destroy both her and the town she grew up in.
