Upfromdysfunction

Growing up across from a ball diamond, in a middle class home with a brother and two parents that loved their boys more than they loved each other, all I ever needed was a ball, a glove, and a cadre of friends. I was a nerd, but I could hit. I made friends, but I could field. Perhaps a Jewish Richie Cunningham (with a sense of humor).

Then life happened. Go figure. Still, through marriage, children, divorce, deaths, recovery, and true love, I not only survived --- but I thrived.

These tales weave together a lifetime of heartfelt memories that climb to but one conclusion: that true happiness can't be bought; it comes from within.

This is my story about the friends, family, and wondrous bounces that gifted my journey.
