Guardian 8, Earth's creator forewarns of possible actions in 2025 and 2035 and Professor Thomas Scribner embarks on a 25-year mission to save humanity. In "Understanding Human Behavior," Professor Jeffrey Lerner participates in a second Guardians' meeting to discuss how better to fathom human behavior. Lerner accepts an assignment to explore the puzzling conduct on the condition he is permitted to travel into the past. He must submit his findings by October 19, 2024. The University approves Lerner's research and grants him two student assistants. The trio begins by seeking study areas composed of sizeable populations. They settle on Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) and male domination of women.
