Twin Cousins

This stand alone novel is a prequel and a sequel to 'Suffer the Little Children'. It is the story of two boys, born to identical twin sisters. One of them is born in Saltburn in the north east of England, and the other in a rural village in the Axarquía region of Andalucía in southern Spain.It is a story of their early lives and how they were affected by first the Spanish Civil War and then World War II, and their subsequent reunion during the turbulent days in Spain when it was under the control of the repressive government of Francisco Franco. It is a tale of people, families and society torn apart by war and politics. It is also a story of the love, passion, hatred, deception and heroics of ordinary people in times of national and international conflicts.
