Twelve Days in Italy (Naples and Rome plus Venice)

What a trip Twelve days in Italy, knowing exactly how to enjoy every moment, not as tourists, not as Italians, more like a rampaging rock band on a grand lark. We were nine, two families, unless you count the various land drivers and boat captains we traveled with, which makes ten at any given moment.

Naples and Rome, two universes co-existing in the same country: why do I saythis - because that been the case ever since outside invaders forcibly unified thetwo against their wills in the 19th century. Now the north and south just live with each other in disbelief.

Before that, ever since Rome's fall in the 400's, they stood apart, evolving separate languages, customs and destinies.
