Turquoise Canyon tells the tale of a young and brave mustang named Ruby who becomes separated from her herd during a desert storm. Sid and Nadia, her parents, become worried after the storm has passed, so they embark on a journey to find her. While Ruby is lost, she takes shelter in a canyon only to stumble upon a large puma cat, her tiny cubs, and other desert wildlife. While trying to make her way back home to her mustang herd, she meets a mustang herd from Turquoise Canyon. They aid Ruby in her quest to find home again.
