Beskrivelse

"A long time ago, when Mother Earth was very young and still infatuated with her Creation, a Boy lived in the woods just outside of a Village. He was tall and skinny, with long wild shiny black hair that had never seen a comb or brush. He had a sweet little nose that any mother would want to kiss, but he had no mother. His hands and feet were too large, and he had bright green almond-shaped eyes that seemed to see everything and nothing at the same time. His eyes were like looking into a clear running stream - they changed all the time. He had no language, so he howled, snorted, muttered and sang what he felt he needed to communicate. Which wasn't much, because he was alone. The folks in the Village felt that he might possibly be a demon - he looked and sounded so strange, and he was fearsome when he chose to howl. So they put out some food for him at night, when their doors and windows were locked, and their children were safely inside."The Boy is one of the Different Children, and decides to leave his feral existence living just outside of his Village to see what the world's about. Along the way, he meets up with a Coyote an Owl, and several others, creating Clan Traveler. During their journey, they begin to realize that the Earth is facing a crisis, and maybe, just maybe, they are the ones to deal with it.This is the first book in the Caln Traveler series, stories that transcend time, and explores how each being has a unique power to transform the world.
