The saga begins in 2015, telling the story of two girls' family experiences and upbringing. We discover over the course of the trilogy that ZEPHYR School, which Z84 now attends, was originally set up by the Department of Education to improve the learning of children. However, ZEPHYR has become one of many schools where experimentation and indoctrination take place. A ruthless group, calling themselves TREFOIL, are programming young people to fight against the establishment status quo. It becomes a race against time to save democracy and to have the right to live in a civilized world.
