A perpetual cycle of agony, and pain. Suffering with the knowledge of a disease taking my whole life. Stealing the light from my soul. My addiction to methamphetamine was soul crushing, and skull crushing; imagine being sucked into the blackest hole, the darkest abyss. When you have the sensation of not being able to breathe, Meth is the monster with its hands squeezing, and choking me, its hands covering my throat with the most brutal force. The only way I could escape was to write; to journal, to express my heartache through my words, which in return gave me a glimmer of hope.
