Beskrivelse

The year was 1963. A group of adventurous teenage boys descend into the depths of an abandoned iron ore mine near Barrow in Furness, in the north-west of England. Their mission is to explore the labyrinth of tunnels beneath "The Vale of the Deadly Nightshade." The mines of Yarleside/Parkhouse are not far from the once rich and powerful Cistercian Abbey, St Mary of Furness: Their adventures lead them to discover many ancient mysteries and secrets including a Medieval Book and Sacred Chalice. When the secrets of the Sacred Chalice are revealed, they practice several benevolent acts of kindness. The boys soon find themselves in grave danger and are pursued by Government Special Agents, Secret Fraternal Organisations, and Religious Orders including officials from the Vatican. These Institutions and various Foreign Government officials will stop at nothing to get their hands on these newly discovered ancient artefacts. The youths manage to keep their discoveries a closely guarded secret until now In this book, the author reveals their incredible journey and the life-changing discoveries made by him and his companions during the early 1960's.
