TRAVELS WITH G: Road Trip Diaries Across the USA

This is my story of a once in a lifetime trip. After years of planning, the adventure can finally start, two ordinary Brits on a road trip, coast to coast, across the USA. I go on this journey with G, my wife of 30 years.

We travel across the continental USA and include the routes we took and places we visited. I took inspiration from "Travels with Charley" by John Steinbeck, a favourite of mine.

The story covers our travels from the east coast, travelling through 15 states, covering over 6,000 miles. Along the way we stop at world famous attractions such as Graceland, home of The King, Elvis Presley.

Some parts of this vast country seem to have hardly changed since the first emigrants arrived. While some of the cities and towns have seen better days. Some of the places we visit are beautiful, some are extremely dangerous. Emotional, exciting and sometimes shocking.
