Beskrivelse
Situated in Washington State's verdant Yakima Valley, the small town of Rockville in 1958 was home to St. Julia's Church. In those simple years of the '50's the pulse of the day was hourly intoned by the bells of St. Julia. In the innocence of his youth, Stan would pause to listen to the resonance of those bells that danced on the wind. The cadence of the bells was the subtle voice of God calling Stan to the priesthood. Parish priests are hardworking, dedicated men. But before the fledgling, newly ordained, Father Stan, assumes the rigorous schedule of a parish priest, he spends an adventurous summer in the holy land where he is present for an archeological find dating from the first century that threatens some of the long standing doctrine of the Catholic Church. He finds himself involved in a harrowing adventure fraught with danger, and a relationship with a beautiful woman, which challenges his vow of celibacy.
