A NEW COUNTRY. A NEW BEGINNING. A NEW TERROR.

American couple Beth and Nate have moved halfway around the world to the Philippines to start fresh. As they prepare to give birth to their first child, the pair seek out a live-in domestic helper for the overburdened Beth.

20-year-old Terri is a do-everything yaya. The simple but enthusiastic country girl is working to send money back home to her family in the province. She's everything they could have asked for, and more.

But it's not all sunshine and coconuts for the expats. Beth becomes convinced someone-or something-is targeting her for nefarious reasons. It's either that or the overactive imagination of a modern Western woman who misses home and is having trouble adapting to her new surroundings.

Or maybe, just maybe, there really is something lurking in the shadows of Beth's new paradise. She is determined to find out the truth, even if it means diving headfirst into the muddy world of Filipino supernatural folklore. To save herself, her marriage, and her unborn child, Beth will do whatever it takes.
