Beskrivelse
Together We Stand is set in Los Angeles in 1988. It is based on the true story of how a community rose up against the crack cocaine dealers on the streets of Hollywood. When the police are ineffective, Mike, a struggling art student, decides to organize the citizen's watch group to patrol the neighborhood every night. Together, the neighbors us nonviolence to take back their streets and make the neighborhood safe once more. Don Haderlein is a filmmaker and author. He and his family live in Southern California. In 1988, he and his wife and young son lived in Hollywood, during the crack epidemic and joined many neighbors to march and shut it down.
