To Feel This Much is a poetry collection by Gay Phinny. Gay is a painter who brings a sense of wonder to her first collection of poetry. Through the flap of a bird's wing, the smell of wet grass, a Formica table top, and the din of traffic, a gentle spirit engages our senses us to explore themes of the natural world, love, and our humanity. Phinny's sparsely populated poetic landscapes invite our curiosity to roam through a contradiction of the playful and the sobering, while leaving the door open to mystery just around the corner. Gay is an avid hiker, bird watcher, and animal lover who currently lives in Santa Monica, California.
