This Marvelous Light

Let there be light. These first-recorded words of God did so much more than speak our world into existence. The "Let there be light" of Genesis 1 radiates still through the continuum of eternity. Light points us to Jesus, illuminates salvation, and ultimately becomes a believer's earthly identity in God's eternal Kingdom of marvelous light. David Vogel is a writer, musician, and graphic designer who finds great joy in using the spark of creativity God put in his heart to inspire others into meaningful worship and communion with his Savior, Jesus Christ. He serves as the communication pastor at Central Community Church in Wichita, Kansas, where he lives with his wife, Hanna, and their two daughters. David's previous titles include This is Christmas, a full-color Advent devotional book, and Kailani's Creation Adventure, a self-illustrated children's book about a turtle who learns about the seven days of creation. He is also a touring vocalist and speaker, visiting churches across the country with a message of encouragement, inspiration, and humor.
