What if one day you woke up and everything you knew was destroyed? I don't mean a little disrupted, I am talking biblical proportions, Job-like. That's what happened to me. 3pm. On a Thursday. Total recall of over a decade of sexual abuse by my parents and their friends that I had suppressed...and the walls came tumbling down.

So I did what my old boxing coach taught me. I tucked my chin and threw punches. I read everything I could read, talked to anyone who would listen, and went to the gym way too much.

I refused to quit. No one was going to tell me I was a Disorder. I wasn't going to die broken because of what someone else did to me--forget that. I determined to turn my Post Traumatic Stress into Post Traumatic Strength.
