Fourteen year-old runaway Andi Neil is on a quest to redeem her dead father. Shunned, orphaned and alone she has but one companion. She calls him Damon. He's nine inches tall, red as a firetruck, has black fangs and lidless eyes, horns, wings and a barbed tail.



He looks like he came straight from below, but better the devil you know than the father you don't.



Pursued across the American West by a mysterious woman who would destroy Andi to get to Damon, Andi must rely on her wits, courage, and a little arcane help from the silent imp who just appeared one night in her room.
