These Very BIG Feeling

Acknowledging the feelings of children and finding ways to celebrate someone special who has died, can keep feelings of connection and provide comfort. For children and adults, it can be a challenge as you try to figure out where to begin.  In this story, you and your child will join Santia and her cousin Tré as they become aware of their feelings included in the cycle of grief.  They discover an easy way to remember their Grandma. Through matey routines, funny stories, favorite songs, and special comfort objects, the time of grief for them becomes more manageable. Talk together about the different things that they do. A few of them may be just right for you. The words that are blue and green are our very BIG words.
