These Things I Pray for You

As a mom, I know the clash between the desire to be in God's Word and the desire to fulfill the motherly-myriad of other demands. I like to read devotional books, but a couple of items are important to me. First of all, I want a length that is daily-doable. But, at the same time, I want something with depth. I also want strong scriptural references that will make me think about my walk. And I do like it when a reading leads me into prayer time. This book meets my personal needs on all those levels, and I know, from talking to other mothers, that these needs aren't only mine. This book revolves around two of the most important things in my life: my children and my God, connecting the two as I bring my children and their future before the One who told me to ask, and it will be given (Matthew 7:7).
