Anticipation Pride Regret On behalf of our brother in letters Shareef I truly believe that lowering one's expectations, will reduce the anxiety of anticipation. Taking the middle course in all of life's affairs can thwart feelings of despair and major let downs. Pride interferes with taking the time to understand real time circumstances, thus limiting the misgivings and mistakes one commits in putting too much emphasis in the self. Insecurities can also be disguised as false pride. The lack of humility leads to arrogance, that in turn leads to many disasters and mistakes. As a human being you will always make mistakes, but coming to terms with them is where pride can become fatal. Making informed decisions, being patient and cautious, listening to those who have stood the test of time, These, are some of the tools I feel can be used to also reduce many regrets one faces. On occasions there should not be any regrets depending on what the event was that happened. How does one classify regret? Be careful in what one pursues and desires.
