Born a diamond destined

to be of rare gleaming polished

exceptional excellence,

Such a human was and

remains to be just that,

Joplin, Missouri, US

D: May 22, 1967

New York City, NY, US

family abducted by slavers

into slavery in the United

States, North America.

By that time so called

Negros were so called

free but in reality, that is

far from true then and now.

He grew to be an artist of

great talent of multi genre

including poetry, writing,

novelist, essayist, dramatist.

raised in the mid-west he

relocated to New York City

as a young man. once he

cultivated his career fine

tuning his god giving gift.

Gaining notoriety, he also

became in civil rights

specifically regarding

the plight of Africans

in America then known as

negroes and were treated

as less then human were

deprived of God given rights.

He eventually became committed

to being an activist in a strong

growing stronger Civil Rights

Movement. He by then living

in Black Harlem as an artist and

activist was well respected in

Harlem and beyond. He was at

the forefront of a then surging

Harlem renaissance in the areas

Langston excelled in.

there is much more that could

and should be covered in all his

multi areas of art and activism

that can not be done here but

one and all should look up a

mass of details concerning his

meaningful life significant contributions.
