The Worlds of Isaiah-- Poppy's Hat

This story involves a pre-school age boy who loves hats, even his Poppy's hat. He discovers that even his granny loves hats too. This book is more about providing a book that shows boys of color a glimpse of themselves in print. It is intended to provide some headway into resolving the issue that boys are reluctant readers. If boys are introduced to the book, read to or learn to read early on, they can then develop a love for books, especially books that show characters that look like them.
