In the shadows of history, the old sage sits in solitude, his quill trembling with the weight of the story he has to tell. How to begin?

As quill moves across parchment, we hear the fiery words of John, the Desert Prophet, and meet the fishermen whose lives are transformed by a man they meet on the shore.

We are led into the chaos and drama of the Temple Courts, and into the many heart-wrenchingly personal stories of grief, sickness and betrayal that are redeemed by an encounter with Jesus.

We race with Mary, fleeing an angry mob, and slip into the shadows with Nicodemus. We mingle with the crowds on the hillside, and sit with the friends in the boat.

But with each retelling, the sage is haunted by his own grief: the loss of Andrew and John, the betrayal of Judas, and the unspeakable sacrifice that changed everything.

The power and the pain are still fresh, but the sage knows this is a story that must be toldbefore his time runs out, and there's no one left to tell it.
