The Welfare

Jack Wilson's life changes when he makes a move from the slow sadness of his job helping the troubled community in his rural surroundings to the ever-challenging social welfare situation among the people of North London.

He puts all he can into his demanding job, but soon finds that his clients are not the only people with troubles, and that there is plenty of drama among his colleagues - backbiting, competition, crime and a spark of romance that complicates Jack's life before he can redeem himself.
