The Viewing is based on a historical event.

An ancient relic, kept in a Greek monastery for centuries, is to be transported to Russia for a public event called The Viewing.

Popular blogger, Mark Donatello, learns that his twin brother, the resident archivist at the monastery, is part of the entourage heading to Russia. Concerned about his brother, Mark and his girlfriend, Kyler Holden, wade through facts and rumors about the relic, face a startling discovery from the past, and uncover a bizarre plot that may lead to a violent end of The Viewing.
